Embossed Business Cards

Perception is a motion-picture visual effects shop, and they wanted a business card that was like no other.

Their ultra-thick business cards are printed on 160lb Mohawk Loop Smooth Double-Thick Cover, with the logo blind-embossed across the center of the card.

Blind emboss means that the graphic is physically raised out of the paper, without ink. However, because Perception are always a step ahead of our visual expectations, they designed a perfect registered, printed drop shadow on the card to accentuate the embossing.
